Primal Screen existed for 30 years, creating dynamic and interactive content that spoke to grown-ups and kids alike. The studio employed graphic designers, animators, developers, sound makers, and a seasoned production team who provided dynamic media from concept to completion. Their work has been recognized by the Emmys, Communication Arts, New York Art Directors Club, Promax, Broadcast Design Association, AIGA, and others.
Founded by Doug Grimmett, Jane Grimmett, and Steve Mank in 1995, Primal Screen was one of Southeast's first motion design studios. The studio officially closed at the beginning of 2025.
