Drawn To Making it Happen - Black History Month

Instead of looking to the past for Black History Month, Cartoon Network spotlights the amazing things one kid is doing in our own time. “Drawn to …” is the network’s shorts series about kids who forge a path to greatness. For this entry about Sidney Keys, founder of the Books n Bros book club, we animated Craig and Jessica from Craig of the Creek. In addition we were fortunate enough to animate an illustration by the great Marco Cheatham. In this interlude Keys stands tall as a heroic king. The inspirational video speaks directly to representation in literature and (just like Craig of the Creek) onscreen.
