Elmo and Grover's Farm Time Fun
Sesame Street
In collaboration with Sesame Workshop and PBS KIDS we built a robust explorable world featuring interactive moments and mini-games that reinforce different aspects of the Whole Child curriculum, including Music (Arts), Counting (Math) and much more.
The Farm
Entering the game, players meet Grover and Elmo who encourage them to explore. As they roam, players can help with farm chores like moving the pigs to mud, loading milk jugs onto a truck, and repairing a broken tractor wheel. Players can also hone their farm skills in four mini-games.
Grow and Gather
Players choose seeds, then they plant, water and watch them grow. At last they can harvest their crop and start the cycle all over again. While players have fun producing crops, they also learn about Engineering (the technology of horticulture) and Science (what makes plants grow).
Fruit Drop
A counting game that reinforces the Math curriculum, Fruit Drop sets players in a fruit orchard where they can catch the falling fruit in their basket. But watch out, these trees drop other surprises like an old boot or a kazoo — not too tasty. After players count their bounty they can move to another kind of tree to collect even more.
Farm Stand Band
As a musical track loops, kids place different animals on a bandstand to sing (or moo or oink) their part at just the right time. The open-ended game lets players shape the music to their liking by trying new animals in different positions. Best of all, the creative activity requires no musical knowledge to create a moo-sterpiece.
Baby Roundup
The barnyard is skittering with chicks, piglets and foals. Players gather the babies and match them with their parent. While the players work to make sense of the mayhem, they learn about animal life cycles (Science) and that everyone has their own Mom (Social-Emotional Learning).
