Sometimes the best way for kids to navigate their own emotions is to recognize them in someone else. In Sesame Street’s Mood Monster, children meet and customize Buddy, a friendly monster who needs help identifying his feelings. Kids select a feeling and then watch Buddy act it out. Then they guess what might bring that feeling on. Mood Monster can be a particularly effective tool for counselors to use with children who seem to be struggling. Primal Screen did all graphic design, animation, game dev and sound.
